GVM WorldSCAN Integral Leadership & Values in the

GVM WorldSCAN Israel Survey 2006
Integral Leadership & Values in the 21st Century

Welcome to this special on-line open survey focusing on the issues of Integral Leadership and Values in the 21st Century.

The Global Values Monitor WorldSCAN approach is based on the unique values technology originally developed by Professor Clare Graves from Union College in New York in the years following the Second World War.  This approach has been further developed by Dr Don Beck over the last 30 years.  It has been extensively field tested globally over this period in both the developed and developing world covering the full spectrum of applications in both the private and public sectors.

Much of the development of the GVM technology has been carried out in South Africa over the last 25 years as this is a country with the full spectrum of values systems.  However, the values technology is particularly relevant to the full range of global applications in organizations of all types and sizes. The Global Values Network in conjunction with Dr Don Beck have developed this technology further in order to identify better ways of solving challenges within organizations of all sizes and types as well as looking at country and regional approaches.

The GVM WorldSCAN Israel Survey has been introduced as an important follow-up to other WorldSCAN Surveys we have conducted in the past. We are particularly interested in the global values shifts currently taking place in Israel and the Middle East generally.  This is an opportunity to assess how how these shifts are viewed by individuals living in this region.

Your opinion is important to us so please take a few minutes to complete the following questionnaire.  Following final completion and publishing of the GVM WorldSCAN Israel Survey all participants will automatically be notified by e-mail that the results are available on-line for viewing.

  GVM WorldSCAN Methodology

The SD Values technology is to be used in the Global Values Monitor as well as the use of other global indicators. It will also provide a template for use of this technology in other related areas. The GVM WorldSCAN site will evolve as it develops and will always be “a site under construction”. In addition it will provide critical information to decision makers in terms of innovative ways to achieve positive outcomes on an integral basis at both the global and local level.

 GVM WorldSCAN Approach

The GVM WorldSCAN approach will use global values indicators which have been extensively tested over a period of more than 25 years. For the first time these are now available globally on-line to our clients. This will allow for “GVM Values Profiles” to be produced which will show the distribution of values within a particular entity varying from a local organisation to a country or region. In addition to straight values data other related information will be available in order to profile the entity being surveyed. Further details on this are to be found on the attached link.   GVM Data Collection and Results

The GVM WorldSCAN survey will always have a standard core section but other specialised areas will vary. This will depend on the needs of the specific client and will be collated on an individual basis on-line. The data will be displayed in graphic format with associated commentary on a section by section basis.

The GVM WorldSCAN project will be an on-going live survey with data being added and deleted as required. This will assist in the identification of longer term trends. In addition to the on-line survey clients will be able to request a summarised version of the GVM Survey either on-line or in a summarised print version.

The information will be displayed in graphic format using the latest GIS technology on the specialised Global Values Monitor.com portal provided for this purpose. In addition the data will be displayed utilising the latest technology to indicate development trends on a comparative basis across countries, regions and organizations.

 GVM Profiles

The profile displayed will provide an immediate indication of the level of development (socio-economic and other) in a region or country. The value of this approach is that by the use of this unique technology it will be possible to measure the various levels of development from a three dimensional perspective in a totally new way. Countries will be shown overall as well as compared by Factor with other countries.
